Notes: This is John Allen's first design. While he was at PTC, two more identical designs were built. These were the Valley Volcano at Angela Park in Drums, Pennsylvania, and the Flyer at Hunt's Pier in Wildwood, New Jersey. The Sea Dragon is the only one left.

|
Structure: Wooden structure is painted white. Trains are black with crimson side steps. The front emblem makes it look as if you've climbed aboard a ship bound for swashbuckling adventures.
|
|

This is a great little coaster for children to start out with. And if I could build one in my backyard to ride whenever I'd like, this would be the design I would pattern it after. Not much in the speed department, but a nice little ride you could ride over and over again all the while still having that wooden touch. I rate it 4 's
This coaster was my first wooden coaster, and it blew me away! I thought that
it was going to be this coaster with no speed and no drops whatsoever. Boy
was I wrong! This coaster starts out by going up the lift hill of course. If
you sit in the last car (like I did) When the train drops down, you are
literally yanked down! It is a lot of fun. Fun for the whole family, and a
great first wooden coaster, as I just found out this past August. Everyone who
has a chance to ride should take that chance for granted. This is a must ride
for everyone.
