Arrangement: Riders are arranged 2 across, 4 seats per car for a total of 20 riders per train
Notes: Based on Schwarzkopf's Silberpfeil model which means "Silverarrow" in German. Ride footprint is 213.91 x 93.5 feet (65.2 x 28.5 meter).
Structure: Weighs in at approximately 230 tons. Approximately 130 Kilowatts of power is needed for operation. Orange track & black column supports, train cars are cherry red, orange, & red wine colored which sit on a plum base.
Elements: Nice drop to the right as you race like a "stinger" through a 39.37 ft (12 m) loop. Strong G's are felt on this tight circuit followed by a series of both over and under banked turns. A fairly substantial 540-degree downward helix caps the ride. Loading station is very tiny; queuing area wraps around the ride.
Features: Over-the-shoulder restraints are not present with this coaster as the signature Schwarzkopf lapbars are all that is required.
History: Located in the Timbuktu section of the park. This section was part of an $18 million expansion BGT built at the turn of a new decade in 1980 along with the new Dolphin Theater, the German themed Festhaus restaurant & of course the Scorpion.
The ride layout is considerably compact, yet it packs a wallop with its tight turns/helices and can be a bit bumpy if you are not on the defensive. For one of an increasingly small genre of rides still around, it can be said it rides ... classically Schwarzkopf. I rate it 5 's
