Structure: Steel tubular track with 137 support columns. Originally the ride had red track with light grey column supports. In 2004, the columns were repainted goldenrod yellow giving it a very Mickey D's kind of look.

|
Elements: This coaster races through the woods, glides over a pond, swinging back and forth. The now extensive growth of trees and vegetation give you the sensation you're flying faster than you really are.
|
|
Features: This one has two lift hills, 76 & 62 feet respectively.

For some time riders have denounced this coaster as being anything than exciting. You experience no airtime, no positive or negative G-forces, however there is something to be said swooping through the trees rocking back and forth. The cars are bulky, so the only good seat is the front. My cap had flown off from riding in the first car; a lady 4 cars back caught it as it whizzed by - imagine that. I rate it 4 's
Iron Dragon at Cedar Point, even though it's not one of the "big boys",
it is one of my favorite coasters. The theme & environment with the lake & the
mist & flying through the trees is awesome. I put it in my top 10 favorite
coasters of all time. Naturally, Millennium Force is my #1 favorite of all
time.
