Notes: Ride footprint covers 5.5 acres. Built at a cost of $21 million USD. Maverick's queue line uses the old White Water Landing loading & unloading station. Steel erected by Adena Corp.
Structure: Track is rust colored with brown support columns. Trains are decked out in gunmetal, silver, iron, gold, copper, and brass - all traditional colors of the west. Restraints are brass.
Elements: 95° first drop, 74 ft hill, two corkscrew rolls, 360° heartline roll.
Features: 400 ft LSM launch tunnel, 8 airtime hills, 10 banked turns (62-92°), magnetic braking. Trains will actually travel beneath the elevated loading station.
History: Delayed from opening, the ride was troubled by a section of track which included the heartline roll (the most prominent of the ride's inversions) where G-forces were spiking between 6-7 Gs and causing a rough ride. Slowing down the launch did not help in that trains barely had enough momentum to complete the circuit. This caused the park to up the height restriction and to remove the inversion altogether and replace it with a simple S-curve.
