Arrangement: Riders are arranged 2 across, 4 seats per car sitting back-to-back for a total capacity of 32 riders.
Notes: Based on Maurer Söhne's Xtended SC2000 spinning coaster design featuring a custom-designed loading area and additional track including an outside drop.
Structure: Originally the cars were to resemble giant turtles complete with tail, head and flippers. They are thought to be themed as turtle shells now in conjunction as not to hinder the ride as they are freely rotating seat chassis.
Elements: After ascending the 30° lift hill disguised as a sunken submarine, the pin underneath is unlocked at the top of the lift hill causing the car to spin at a rate of up to 20 rpm. Usually on these models the pin is unlocked after the first drop. The Immelmann turn is banked at 82° forcing riders to stare up to the sky or straight down below. Also features a 360° carousel, a slalom section with baby bunny hops together with some several sharp curves.
Features: Heavy theming is expected. Digital projectors installed show the characters from Finding Nemo to be swimming around you while riding through rockwork and coral reefs on the EAC (the Easter Australian Current). I would imagine there would a hungry shark along the way and I was right! A 4m long "Bruce the shark" will be swimming around riders as they ascend the submarine lift hill.
History: Originally named Crush’s Sea Turtle Spin and later Crush’s Turtle Twister, language barriers suggest settling on its present nom.

This ride was simply the best ride in the studios park. Lets face it, it needed some good rides. I really didnt expect it was going to be quite as much of thrill ride as it was - it took me by surprise. By the looks of the cute little shells I thought it was going to be a gentle dark ride with the odd swoop. In actual fact it went pretty fast, so fast in fact that combined with the rotating shell at some points I wasnt quite sure which end was up. What makes this ride a cut above the rest is that it had the best of both worlds ... thrills and sensational theming!! A big thumbs up from me. Unfortunately the rest of the people in the park agreed and the queue was 75 minutes long. Truely a sign of a good ride (a fastpass is needed desperately though).
