Arrangement: Riders are arranged 2 deep, 2 seats per car for a total of 24 riders per train.
Notes: Based on Vekoma's Custom MK-700 design and is Texas' first indoor roller coaster.
Accident & Safety Record: In 2001, a 13-year old boy unfortunately suffered broken hip, pelvis, ankle, and face bones caused by a train accident sustained after being thrown from the first car. Case was settled out of court 2 years later. Cause ultimately pointed to the ratchet teeth on the restraining T-bars had worn down. Vekoma specifications caution bars need to be replaced if more than 20% of the teeth are worn away.
Structure: Track and column supports are black. Train cars are white with black interior. Restraints are orange. The unique T-bar restraint telescopes out from the bottom and angles down against your lap before locking into place where two sets of teeth clamp down together.
Elements: Nicknamed the The Toilet Bowl because of the helices the train endures.
Features: Loading station dims lights as each train is dispatched.
History: Closed in 2005. Originally built in 1988 at Boblo Island where it was known as Nightmare. Relocated in 1995 to SFAW and placed inside of this pyramid. Since relocated in 2006 to Wonderland Amusement Park.
Super ride for families. The bobsled styled cars allow for more than one rider and take you into the darkness for a fairly fun ride. When boarding the train from the queue gates, keep in mind it is usually a free for all. This means the track curves and you will find yourself guarding your car before others get to it and might be without a seat in this confusing setup. I rate it 4 's
