I recently boarded the new space mountain at disneyland, california and i have to say i was a little disappointed. Maybe it was just me but the old one seamed to have more thrills, more sudden drops and just be more space like. The soundtrack was okay, nothing compared to the older one. I dont know, it just has bigger hype than was delivered. Right now they are going through a "soft opening" and the coaster is open to the public, just their grand opening is on July 15th.

Actually the from what I understand, the layout did not change save the finale where they extended it a bit to increase the length of the return tunnel and brake run. This increases efficiency and at the same time tries to eliminate trains backing up in t
