These two rides are awsome! Perilous Plunge's line is a waste of time, the ride is not worth it, but, if it were only a ten minute wait it would be great! Now, Xcelerator, I would wait 2 hours for that! I sat in the very front, It is awsome! Anyone else been on these two?
I read in Maxim a few months ago that Perilous Plunge was shut down indefinetly after some woman was shoehorned after the 120 foot plunge. Was that true, or was it a rumour by Maxim?
Yes it is true. Read all about it at the knott's website in the PERILOUS PLUNGE section. A 290 lb. woman was thrown out of the boat during the drop and once even the boat thrusted off track to the side!
